Bhagadatta was a king of the kingdom of Pragjyotisha, which was located in present-day Assam in northeastern India. He was a minor character in the Hindu epic Mahabharata, but played an important role in the Kurukshetra war.
Bhagadatta was known for his bravery and military prowess and was considered one of the greatest warriors of his time. He was a staunch ally of the Kauravas and supported them in the Kurukshetra war against the Pandavas.
In the war, Bhagadatta commanded a large army and was known for his use of advanced weapons and tactics. He was responsible for killing several of the Pandava warriors. Despite his efforts, he was eventually defeated by Arjuna, one of the five Pandava brothers.
