We see an open office floor with cubicles arranged neatly. The employees, dressed in formal attire, are engrossed in their work. Suddenly, a loud voice echoes in the room.
VOICE (O.S.)
Listen up, everyone!
Everyone turns to see a man, RAJ, standing near the entrance. He is in his mid-30s and wears a sharp suit.
RAJ
(smiling)
I have some great news. The management has decided to promote one of us to the position of team leader.
The employees start whispering among themselves.
RAJ (CONT'D)
But to be considered for the promotion, you have to prove your worth. You have to complete a project and submit it by the end of the week.
The employees nod in agreement.
RAJ (CONT'D)
And remember, this is a fair competition. May the best person win.
CUT TO:
INT. CAFETERIA - DAY
Two employees, ROHIT and JAI, are having lunch together.
ROHIT
(skeptical)
Do you really think this is a fair competition?
JAI
(shrugging)
What choice do we have?
ROHIT
(angrily)
I'm sick of this office politics. It's not about merit anymore, it's all about who you know.
JAI
(calming him down)
Hey, don't get too worked up. Just focus on your project and give it your best shot.
ROHIT nods, but he still looks skeptical.
CUT TO:
INT. OFFICE - DAY
We see the employees working on their projects. Some are typing furiously on their keyboards, while others are scribbling on notepads.
RAJ walks by, checking on everyone's progress. He stops at ROHIT's desk.
RAJ
(smiling)
How's it going, Rohit?
ROHIT
(politely)
Good, sir. Just trying to meet the deadline.
RAJ nods and moves on to the next desk.
CUT TO:
INT. CONFERENCE ROOM - DAY
The employees gather in the conference room for the final round of the competition. RAJ is seated at the head of the table.
RAJ
(smiling)
I'm proud of all of you. You've worked hard and produced some excellent projects.
He picks up a file and starts reading.
RAJ (CONT'D)
And the winner is...
He pauses for effect.
RAJ (CONT'D)
Rohit!
Everyone applauds as ROHIT stands up, looking both surprised and pleased.
RAJ (CONT'D)
Congratulations, Rohit. You've earned this promotion.
ROHIT thanks everyone, but his eyes are fixed on JAI, who looks a bit disappointed.
CUT TO:
INT. CAFETERIA - DAY
ROHIT and JAI are having lunch again.
JAI
(sincerely)
Congratulations, man. You deserve it.
ROHIT
(grateful)
Thanks, Jai. I couldn't have done it without your help.
JAI
(smiling)
Hey, we're a team, right?
ROHIT nods, feeling grateful for having a friend like JAI in the office.
CUT TO:
INT. OFFICE - DAY
The employees are back at their desks, working diligently. RAJ is standing near the entrance, watching them with a smile on his face.
RAJ (V.O.)
(in his head)
Well done, everyone. This is how we build a great team.
